The story of AER HEAD is the reason for my passion for cartooning. It begins with a surfer, Aereo Zephyr, who lives in the city of New San Diego and and can predict the future in his dreams, leading to… SURFERS IN SPACE! The Surf Pyramid image is the NEW style of AER HEAD, combining watercolor backgrounds with solid color characters. The old style of AER HEAD (from 2010!) begins with the sunset surfing image and leads into the old intro. I’m revitalizing the series from changing Aer’s full name to more in-depth backstories of characters and more. Please join me on the exciting journey of creating AER HEAD on Patreon!

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS:
"I wanted to let you know how thrilled my wife and I are about the custom comic art page you did for our 20th anniversary. It is truly something which we have both fallen in love with from the moment we received it.
What you did was amazing. You took our story and our pictures and turned it into an incredible piece of art and keepsake, which my family will treasure forever. We are simply amazed that you were able to bring our story to life so perfectly. Your drawing, inking, and coloring are all amazing and to be honest we loved your work so much it brought tears of joy to both of us.
You were so affable and so easy to work with too. From the moment I told you what my vision was for this project you did your utmost to make me feel comfortable about it. You also did a phenomenal job keeping me updated on the project’s progression. I can’t tell you how cool it was to see our story come to life from pencils, to inks, then to full color.
We really can’t wait to figure out what to have you do for us next. All of our friends and relatives loved your work and it brought smiles to all of their faces.
Thank you so much for making our 20th anniversary one that we shall always remember."

"I first [met] Mindy at the bridal expo in NY, and she honestly was the only vendor that stood out. From our first meeting Mindy has been professional and very in tuned to what my fiancee and I were looking for in creativity. Professional, creative, understanding, artistic, and very sweet!
Thank you Mindy for our personalized detailed comic! We cant wait to use our comic portrait at our wedding this September! "

This is a series of illustrations I did for a custom book! The client’s Aunt Linda is truly one-of-a-kind and for her 70th birthday, her family collected a bunch of hilarious stories which I brought to life!
This is my latest comic! Two girls struggling to find a decent place for cheap is harder than it seems.
If you have to move in New York City, be prepared for a month of stress and an emotional roller coaster.
Everything in this comic actually happened. I created it to warn others of crazy sh*t you may encounter in your NYC hunt.
Good luck - you’ll need it.
Ironically, shortly after making this comic, Molly and I went on the hunt again, for reasons that may or may not be explained in a sequel.
I don't have an online store set up yet, but if you'd like a copy, you can Paypal me $6 to mindy@mindyindy.com with your mailing address and I'll send you a copy!
This story will be featured in an international graphic novel anthology that's all about dogs! "The Secret Life of Dogs" will be published by Captain Bijli Comics and Great Bear Comics.
he Misfortune Cookie story launched me into exhibiting at comic conventions! I started with this short 5 page story selling mini comics 2 years ago, and have since grown to create more stories and exhibit at many comic conventions, art shows, and more!
The second story of The Misfortune Cookie series, but not a sequel or continuation. The human characters are totally different than in the first story. The misfortune cookie itself is the main character and happens upon many different people in different places.
The Lucky Penny is yang to The Misfortune Cookie's yin. I wanted to create a lighter, more positive comic because lots of people get scared away from The Misfortune Cookie at conventions. I'm not even joking.
This web comic is based on one panel from the first Misfortune Cookie story. I wanted to create a web comic with the least amount of effort possible - it must be quick! I just change the words in the misfortune and voila - people still like it! No redrawing necessary.
