So what's a few inches of snow this weekend? There's a small indie comic & film fest going on this Saturday at Lovecraft Bar! Lovecraft has such a cool sci-fi theme a-la-HP Lovecraft, with pipes of bubbling liquid lining the walls, and a basement with a nautical theme. LES (short for Lower East Side) Films & Comic Book Festival will have short films, a comic book showcase, comedy, art, cosplay shows, bands, poetry, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and Ultra Street Fighter 4. An event striving to end poverty & homelessness with Goodwill Rescue Mission.

Saturday, January 23, starting 7pm. At 50 Ave B Manhattan. $5 benefit contribution & 1 drink min, 21+ event. The closest subway stop is Delancey/Essex, so just get to the J, M, or F trains. Goes until 11:30pm.
